Stained Glass Cookie Bars    Great recipe for the holidays.  No flour or eggs in this recipe.
Slice and Bake Shortbread    One of my favorite things to do for most any holiday, especially Christmas, is to bake gourmet cookies to give to friends and family.  Only special cookies will do!  Betty's Best Damn Brownies, shortbread cookies, honey pecan bars, chocolate crackle tops, just to name a few.  A mixture of flavors,  textures and colors to make the box of cookies a work of art!  I buy decorated boxes in November and then plan how many recipes I have to make to have enough cookies to fill them.  It takes me a couple of days to do the bakng but, it is a true labor of love for me.    Watch the timing on these, they are done as soon as edges lightly brown.  Slice about 3/8 inches thick.  They do not need icing but, I do roll them in colored sugar for color.   This recipe has wonderful flavor and melts in your mouth.  They keep for about a week .
Chocolate Crackle Tops    This is the best crackle top I have found.  These cookies have a tendency to be dry in a day or two.  Again, do not overcook.  That is the main reason for a dry cookie!    These look great on a plate with other cookies, or even alone!  They are rich and chocolately.
QUICK Baked Rum Balls    Easy, but they pack a punch!
QUICK Pecan Butter Balls    The kids will love helping make these cookies!
QUICK Cranberry Cookies    Perfect holiday alternative, to make use of those seasonal berries!
QUICK Kris Kringles    This recipe yields a lot of tasty cookies!
QUICK Snowball Cookies    The kids will love making these cookies!  Perfect for Christmas!
Make-Ahead Bourbon Balls    These little treats get better with age. (after a few days)
