Bundt Cake Recipes
Lemon Poundcake
This poundcake is easy to make and sure to please.
Moist Zucchini Cake
The zucchini is grated, salted and put in the refrigerator for one hour to remove some of the moisture. Squeeze well, this procedure will reduce the 6 cups to three.
This will make a bundt cake that would also serve as a coffee cake. Dense and moist, with lots of flavor.
NOTE* Sugar could also be reduced to use for breakfast.
Red Beet Chocolate Cake
This recipe adds pureed beets to the batter to make a really flavorful cake. Canned beets may be used.
Cinnamon Pumpkin Cake
Like pumpkin pie? You'll love this pumpkin cake! This cake is baked in a bundt or tube pan and frosted with cream cheese frosting. What a combination!
Old Fashioned Prune or Plum Cake
This is a lighter version of the old favorite prune cake recipe. Using jars of baby food makes the batter smoother and the cake has a rich taste.
A carmel frosting recipe is included but cream cheese frosting would also go well.
Ruby Slipper Cake
This recipe comes from Calloway Co. Kentucky. I have not made it but, it certainly sounds good!
Blackberry Bundt Cake
I have picked up many a "chigger" from picking wild blackberries in the woods and fence rows!
Always on the look-out for the occasional snake, walking through the tall grass, the chiggers bury up in your skin along the waistband, or OTHER PLACES, too personal to mention.
(Chiggers are tiny little red insects that eventually die off, after causing much itching discomfort! (Covering them with nail polish makes them die quicker.)
NOTE* This cake would work equally well as a coffee cake for company. Use black walnuts for an even richer cake.
Flour-less, Egg-less, Incredibly Rich Fruitcake
This one is rich, sweet and delicious!
QUICK Kentucky Wine Cake
This has the delicate flavor of Sherry. What a treat for the bridge club! And it's easy.
