Cranberry Snaps

This is a great little sweet treat for the holidays.
Ingredients
2 cups frozen cranberries
1/2 cup water
1/3 cup dark rum
1/2 cup honey
Grated zest of 1 large lime
24 ginger snaps
1/2 cup whipped cream cheese
Directions
Combine cranberries, water, rum and honey in small heavy saucepan. Bring to boil until berries pop, then reduce heat and cook, stirring often, until mixture starts to thicken and turn smooth. Cool, then stir in lime.
Chill completely.
Just before service, spread each ginger snap with 1 tsp cream cheese. Top with a heaping tsp of cranberry mixture.
