Cheddar Cheese And Olive Balls
| Servings: 12 to 16 Servings | Prep. Time: 10 Min Prep 20 to 25 Min. Bake |
These tasty little nibbles can be made ahead and kept refrigerated until time to bake. They have a lot of flavor and are great for cocktails. They are cheesy and salty!
Ingredients
1/4 pound cheddar cheese, shredded
1/4 pound butter, softened
1/4 tsp. paprika
3/4 cup flour
40 small, stuffed green olives, well drained
Directions
Preheat oven to 375 F.
Combine cheese, butter and paprika. Mix well into flour (using hands) until cheese blends into flour and it becomes deep yellow in color. Cover and let stand for 15 minutes.
Pinch off a small amount and flatten into a disk in the palm of your hand. Add an olive to the center and bring edges up to form ball of dough, rolling gently.
Place on a cookie sheet and refrigerate for 10 minutes.
Bake 20 to 25 minutes, until lightly brown.
