Brown Sugar Hard As Rocks ?

February 2010

Place an apple wedge or two in the bag with the sugar, seal and store at room temp for a day. Leaving it too long will cause moisture to collect around apple slices.  I just did this last week, I put 2 slices in a big bag of sugar, left it for two days.  The sugar was soft, but wet around the slices!
